Persian Dance Workshop
*This four week series will introduce students to the art of Persian Classical dance. Focus will be placed on intricate hand and arm movements, languid sweeping gestures, footwork patterns and short movement sequences. Special focus will be placed on the art of spinning. Common themes in this dance form inspired by the great Persian poets- Hafiz, Rumi, and Omar Khayam include the moth to the flame, intoxication with love for the beloved, or a bird spreading it's wings to fly to freedom.

Pilates Mat-work
The Pilates method is a fully integrated mind/body/spirit philosophy that promotes flexibility, building of core strength, proper body alignment, lengthening and toning muscles of the entire body, and overall physical well-being.
This class will introduce students to the basic principles of Pilates Mat-work exercises.
Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
